Östersund Arena

Östersund Arena opened in 2013 and has a capacity of 3 000 spectators. It is a multi-purpose venue that can be used for curling, ice hockey, field hockey, figure skating, gymnastics and so forth.

During the Special Olympics Sweden Invitational Games, competitions in figure skating and speed skating will take place in the arena.

Östersund Arena has two large halls with artificial ice rinks, making it an optimal place to hold competitions in figure skating and speed skating.

The foyer has a cafeteria/restaurant, and the arena has 14 changing rooms, fresh areas for the competition management, media rooms, and health care. Like the Ski Stadium, which is just a stone’s throw away, Östersund Arena is close to the city center.
